The Language of Fiber Arts
The annual Fiber Artists of San Antonio Art Exhibition October 8 - November 12, 2021. The theme for this year’s exhibition will be “The Language of Fiber Art.” Fiber lends a unique expression in art that has its own distinctive delivery of the message. Whether traditional or non-traditional techniques are employed there is an observable richness through this medium.
Materials Hard + Soft
Recognized as one of the premier craft exhibitions in the country, Materials: Hard + Soft International Contemporary Craft Competition and Exhibition, began in 1987 and was originally initiated by area artist Georgia Leach Gough. Now in its 34th year, the exhibition shows the top national and international artists as we celebrate the evolving field of contemporary craft and the remarkable creativity and innovation of artists who push the boundaries of their chosen media.
5th International Triennale of Textile Arts
The Textile Art International Triennial TexpoART is organized under the auspices of the “George Enescu” National University of Arts and Romanian Artists Union and will be held from December 1 to December 20, 2020 at "Victoria" and "Theodor Pallady" Art Galleries Iași, Romania.

LIVE WIRE: MATERIALS OF A REVOLUTION
Live Wire, a juried and invitational group exhibit made in collaboration with New Mexico’s Española Valley Fiber Arts Center. Encompassing the gallery’s entire atrium and ground floor, Live Wire showcases contemporary fiber work by emerging and established textile artists whose work explores the turmoil and transformation of social and political upheaval.
Live at home with DVAA
On Saturday, June 27 at 7pm, DVAA Live @ Home continues with studio visits with two New York artists: Meghan Udell and Charles Wilkin. Both artists will host live streamed tours from their studios where they are creating new art pieces.
